My god my 14 year old hormones are raging right now, this is some gross shit man.
So the boy I talked about here has asked me out, we usually call each other after school or whenever we can because we just want to talk, and one time the call went to 3:30 AM in the morning.
On the 24th of November, I went over to his house to watch some movies, it was fun, nothing happened but I still had a good time.
I wanted to sit a little bit closer to him and I guess I was too obvious so he pretty much knew what was going on anyway.
The actual 'asking me out' debacle happened on the 26th of November.
It was like any other call, we just fooled around and laughed a lot, it was fun.
But then, of course, it got a little bit personal after 2:00 AM, and I felt like talking about my insecurities for a while since it has been acting up; and he listened. I ranted about how much my last relationship affected me and my self-esteem, my family problems and my friends, it was good.
And then I blabbered about how much I like a person (him) and how they (him) wouldn't like me back, he probed around a little and I guess I was a little obvious because after that he just showered me in compliments.
He told me how beautiful I am and how much of a positive impact I've had on him, and I didn't want to get my hopes up so I took this as "huh, so I've been a good friend!"
And then he told me he liked me.
I was shaking and I couldn't stop smiling, it's been a little bit over a week and I'm still very happy.
I know I shouldn't expect too much out of a high-school relationship since my last one was pretty good at the start and went to shit a month in, but I like him a lot and I want this to work.
So I will fix myself, because I like him and I'm sure he likes me too.
